Tina LaBarre MS RD LDN
I am a Registered Dietitian with 11 years of experience across hospital, long-term care, and outpatient settings. I specialize in medical nutrition therapy for GI conditions, and chronic disease management such as hypertension, heart disease, prediabetes, and cancer. I provide preventive nutrition counseling for various conditions, including weight management and support for individuals using weight loss medications.
I also focus on women's health, and I am a member of the Women's Health and Behavioral Health Nutrition Dietetic Practice Groups through the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.
What to Expect:
During our first session we will learn more about your goals and what wellness looks like to you. We will discuss your current lifestyle, eating pattern, food preferences, and discuss potential obstacles for meeting your goals. We will outline a plan to ensure we are moving towards your nutrition goals, including strategies to overcome obstacles. Follow-up sessions will focus on further individualizing your nutrition plan of care.
Fun Facts:
Outside of work, I love to run, ski, and take road trips with my family. I spend my summers serving as the program dietitian for the Never Too Young Football Club, a summer soccer and nutrition program co-founded with my husband in 2021. I love teaching nutrition classes for worksite wellness programs, fitness centers, schools, and community organizations.
